With the on going work at Swanton Morley Church the ringers decided to move the practice for one week to Beetley. There are 8 bells at Beetley with the Tenor weighing just over 4 cwt (slightly lighter then our number 3 bell). Due to their weight Beetley bells can be very interesting to ring, however the small band that rang on Friday managed to ring some well struck bob doubles and st Martins on them. It is hoped that in the coming months the Swanton Morley Bell Ringers will make it a regular practice over at Beetley.

Congratulations to Victoria Joisce and Janet Yeoman who have both rung in recent weeks for their first Sunday Services at All Saints. This is an important milestone for all ringers at Swanton Morley. Both ringers have made huge progress since practices restarted in January.
